Computer-on-Modules (COM), also referred to as System-on-Modules (SOM), integrate the essential functions of a motherboard but require a carrier board for full operation. The COM itself includes key components such as the CPU, memory interface, and standard connectivity options, while the carrier board is responsible for defining custom interfaces and I/Os specific to the application.
We offer a broad selection of COM standards as well as proprietary form factors. Standardized COMs provide the flexibility to switch between different manufacturers, whereas proprietary solutions ensure compatibility within a specific manufacturer's ecosystem.
