Embedded motherboards are high-quality mainboards specifically designed for industrial applications. They feature robust components, long-term availability of up to 7 to 15 years, and follow a structured PCN and EOL process.
The form factors ATX, Micro-ATX, Flex-ATX, and Mini-ITX define the mounting options and dimensions of a motherboard. Thanks to standardization, boards of the same size, or even those with different form factors, can be easily swapped within a system. This flexibility allows multiple motherboards from different performance classes or manufacturers to be used in a single system without needing to adjust I/O cutouts or mounting points.
